EU leaders meet for energy policy reforms
This Thursday and Friday, EU leaders are meeting in Brussels to try and obtain ambitious energy policy reforms. Part of the climate change control measures being highlighted are cutting greenhouse gas emissions and promoting renewable energy sources and biofuel. EU leaders are trying to reach a March 2009 deadline set for this new EU legislation before the anticipated June elections.
